This policy is written to comply with the Brazilian LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law 13.709/2018) and UK data protection law.
We use a small set of service providers, each receiving only what is needed:
Our providers process data in data centres that may be located outside Brazil and outside the UK (including the United States and the European Union). Transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual safeguards. By using a cloud-based AI service, you acknowledge this international processing, as permitted under LGPD Article 33.
Account and learning data are kept while your account is active. Voice recordings are processed for transcription and scoring and are not retained longer than needed for that purpose and for quality assurance. Usage logs are kept for cost-control and security auditing. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where law requires retention.
You may request at any time: confirmation of processing; access to your data; correction; anonymisation or deletion; portability; and information about sharing. Email ian@proequipai.com and we will respond within the timeframes required by law. You may also complain to the ANPD (Brazil) or the ICO (UK).
Data is protected with industry-standard measures: encrypted transport, authenticated API access, and database row-level security so each user can only access their own records. No system is perfectly secure, but security is engineered into the product and audited.
BizGEM is for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
